There is a clay tennis court in 'The Village at Tuscan Ridge' that is FREE to use by any guests staying at Disney Mouse House.  So, if on one of your days away from Walt Disney World and the other attractions in Orlando, try a game of tennis to unwind and relax.  It is good exercise too!   No excuses about having no whites, racquets or balls.  Whites are not required and we supply four tennis racquets and balls so you can play doubles too!

Near to Disney Mouse House and the surrounding area there are a wealth of courses - probably in the region of 20 courses within just a few minutes drive.  It is not just Walt Disney World that attracts visitors to Orlando!  Less than 5 minutes drive away is a course designed by the legendary Australian golfer, Greg 'The Shark' Norman. This course, the 'Champion's Gate Golf Course' (an 18-hole championship course) is just off of the Interstate 4 (I-4)where it crosses the CR54 (see map above).  It is literally less than two minutes drive from Junction 58 of the I-4. The the 'Champion's Gate Golf Course' is arguably the most testing and challenging course in Orlando.

Your Florida vacations wouldn't be the same without some days out to the beautiful sandy beaches to be found on both the Atlantic and Gulf coasts.   Both coasts are between 60-75 minutes drive.  On the Atlantic coast you have resorts such as Cocoa Beach, Daytona, New Smyrna Beach and of course the Kennedy Space Center.  On the Gulf coast you will find Tampa Bay, Clearwater, St Petersburg, St. Pete's Beach, Venice and Sarasota.  On the Atlantic coast you have resorts such as Cocoa Beach, Daytona and of course the Kennedy Space Centre.  On the Gulf coast you will find Tampa Bay, Clearwater and St Petersburg.

Because Orlando vacation rentals are centrally located they allow you to not only visit Walt Disney World and all the other attractions but to easily travel further and enjoy the other splendours that Florida has to offer.

Whether you are looking for quick and easy on-the-go type food e.g. fast food such as McDonalds, Burger King and Wendy's or family restaurants such as Perkins, Beef 'O'Brady's, Cracker Barrel and Denny's, there are a number of these type of restaurants (including those mentioned!) all within 5 minutes drive of the home.  Locally too, you will also find other take-away food places such as Chinese and Pizza.   A few minutes further and there are some other chains such as Carrabba's Italian Grill, Outback and TGI Friday's.  For those looking for the more up-market, intimate and traditional type of restaurant you will find these too!

About a half-mile away (again south bound on Highway 27), there are a few small stores, a Walgreens pharmacy plus a gas station that also sells groceries.  It also has a food outlet for hot and cold meals.
